Devlog #4: First Public Release on the Play Store

I'm thrilled to announce that launch of Sunsear: Avian Combat for Android. It's been a long time coming, and there were a lot of delays, but it feels great to see it out there.

I'm officially, undeniably, a video game developer now.

I imagine the next question may be "but what about the web version that is still up on the page?" In order to get everything in order, I zeroed-in on getting the Android version and all its related features completed and tested. A whole lot went into that, between setting up the Google Play Store listing, integrating Google Play Games Services, and enabling cloud saves.

My attention now is largely focused on marketing, but I am trying to devote at least a little time to get a WebGL version out there. Naturally, with all the Android-exclusive features, there are going to be errors that keep WebGL builds from getting built. A lot of the initial work will just be ironing those out.

If you have an Android phone, I hope you'll take a look at the game here. Otherwise, I will keep you posted on when you can expect a new WebGL build to post here.

Thanks for reading!
